Robert Cone
President

Rob Cone has more than 20 years of experience in international capital markets as a trader, sales person and manager of risk products and people.  As Managing Partner of IMAG, Rob brings extensive front line experience in managing market risk, liquidity risk, and credit risk to bear on the the problems facing financial institutions today. 

Rob is the former President of National Australia Capital Markets LLC, where he managed all front office market activities including capital markets, private placements, and the trading and sales departments for FX, money markets, derivatives and commodities in the U.S.  Previously, he served as Head of FX Proprietary Trading at Bank of America, New York, and was a Senior Vice President and Treasurer at Nippon Credit Bank in Los Angeles. 

Rob is an expert in Treasury strategy and ALCO platforms.   At IMAG, besides his Managing Partner role, he is frequently directly involved in strategic review, planning, and remediation of Treasury platforms, products, and skills. He has many years of experience in starting new products and platforms, as well as the restructuring of underperforming groups.

Rob has a Bachelor of Finance degree from the University of New Orleans and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.  He holds NASD Series 3, 7, 24, 63 licenses and is a licensed private pilot.
