Al Blundo is a well known expert in Operations Management. His working experience has been with major financial institutions including Citigroup, First Fidelity (now Wachovia), and Drexel.  At IMAG, he assists financial institutions plan and implement strategies which deliver the three most sought after goals:  “Better, Cheaper, Faster.”  He is a subject matter expert both in Operations as well as in process re-engineering and cost reduction, productivity improvement and the application of technology.  His assignments often entail process and platform consolidation.  Al is an expert in Operational Risk Management. 

Al has recently completed important engagements in the Treasury Management area of Daiwa Securities (funding/cost review);  the cash management and trade finance areas of JP MorganChase (product and support system analysis); and the cash management area of Deutsche Bank (end to end, Six-Sigma process improvement  review). 

At Citibank, Al was Director of Capital Markets Operations for its Global Relationship Bank, responsible for fixed income trading, clearing and operational support, as well as for Treasury and mortgage finance operations.   At First Fidelity, he was the Division Executive for its Wholesale Operations Division where he managed operations for all cash management products, funds transfer, ACH, coin and currency, international trade finance, Edge Act banks, commercial loans and mortgages, equipment finance, treasury funding, securities processing, discount brokerage and supporting customer service.  At Drexel, Al was the global Director of Commodity Operations and Administration.

Al holds an MBA form the University of Connecticut and a BSME from New York University.
